Introduction

The Far South Coast ARC was originally formed in the early 1980's by interested Amateur's in the Bega Valley area. It has grown over several year with membership of around 20 with a few interstate members as well. The FSCARC maintains a Echolink station, the number being 261307 run by the Secretary VK2CRN Ken. Please give a call out if you wish to speak to a local. The club maintains a 2m FM repeater on 146.825Mhz and the Echolink runs through this repeater. Our repeater is linking to the Snowy Mountains ARC at Cooma via a new repeater Nimmitabell on 147.250Mhz via a UHF link and on to the Snowy Club's other VHF repeater 147.025Mhz halfway between Cooma and Adaminaby by a further UHF link. This new addition to the Far South Coast ARC will open up the southern area for those Amateurs traveling between Canberra and the border as well as travelers from Sydney to Melbourne via the coast..

Meetings

The Club holds its Annual General Meeting in March each year and we welcome any new operators. Our meeting is usually the first Saturday in March and our startng time is 10am so bring a sandwich as coffee tea etc is available for a modest gold coin donation to cover costs as our meetings are held in the local Salvation Army Hall.
