Introduction
The first radio club in Orange had its inaugural meeting in October 1960. The club has had continuous operations since that time. We had the first amateur VHF Repeater in Australia. While we have had a number of frequecy changes, the repeater is still operating from Mt Canobolas near Orange. The repeater has been know as FRED for a number of years. The current frequencies are 147.025 MHz + 600 khz and also 438.725 MHz -5Mhz - Call sign VK2RAO - Echolink Node 270506
Meetings
ODARC meets at SES Building, McLachlan Street Orange (near Showground).
First Friday of the month except January, at 7.30pm
Club net on FRED Repeater 2m and 70cm 7.30pm local time Wednesdays - All are welcome.
Club HF net on 3.625MHz 8.00pm local time Wednesdays - All are welcome.
