Awards program extensively revised. It is now more streamlined and easier to manage.

Eddie DeYoung, VK4AN, accepts Award Managers position. As holder of 7-band DXCC (award of Excellence level); DXCC total of 330 (Honor Roll); many other WIA awards; active DXer and contester, Eddie is well qualified for the position.
The Awards Committee has been expanded. Their enthusiasm, support, maturity and knowledge have made a major contribution to the new Awards program.
April 2009
Awards Manager Wanted
As of the AGM at the beginning of May 2009 I will be resigning as Awards Manager. Consequently the WIA is seeking a replacement to take over the role. An interest in either Awards or DXing in general is desirable but not essential. Also good computer skills (particularly Excel) is required as the awards system is now completely computer based. Above all you must have time available to commit to this position. The current manager will assist as much as possible in the transition as will the Awards Committee members.

October 2008
New QUAD+ DXCC Master Form (Phone,CW,Data,Image & Open). Updated All-in-one DXCC record form now available online to use for all Single/Open DXCC recording. Also a new all-in-one update form for DXCC submissions is available for download.
IARU Worked All Continents Award will shortly be available from the WIA. This will mean that checking for WIA members cards can be done within Australia. No more sending cards to the USA for checking.

All received Award applications and updates will be acknowledged on the DXCC Standings page - then marked approved when appropriate.
Multi-Band DXCC is back. These totals will also be ammended as updates arrive so you will be able to see where you stand on the list. Get those multi-band updates in now.
