The St George Amateur Radio Society will run the 2014 80 METRE TROPHY CONTEST on Saturday 26th July. The Victor will join the legion of SGARS 80 immortals.

  Annual Bogong High Plains Winter Expedition
State: VK3 - Victoria
A group of keen amateurs will once again head up to the Bogong high plains in the Victorian Alps to ski across the back country and operate solar powered QRP. Operators will include VK3FMAW, VK3GT, VK3SN
Work them each afternoon on 40m and each evening on 80m.
The award for the event is that you can turn the air-con up a notch and give them heaps about the cold.
