DESCRIPTION:Brief Description: \n\nDetailed Description: The Geelong
 Amateur Radio Club and Amateur Radio Victoria will be taking\npart in
 the International Museum Weekend of the 20th and 21st of June. \n
GARC
 President Dallas Jones VK3DJ is encouraging other clubs and\nindividuals
 to set up stations and operate from museums on that weekend\ntoo.
 \n
GARC has been operating from the Geelong Regional Museum for a few
 years\nand now expands its operation to also include the Queenscliffe
 Maritime\nMuseum.\n
Amateur Radio Victoria Event Coordinator Terry
 Murphy VK3UP advises that\nthe statewide organisation will operate from
 the HMAS Castlemaine at Gem\nPier Williamstown on the Sunday. \n
The
 Geelong\, Queenscliffe and Williamstown museums have very much
 welcomed\namateur radio. There should be no shortage of museums that
 would be\navailable on the weekend.\n
