About Jim Linton
Jim Linton VK3PC joined the Wireless Institute of Australia as a teenager and shortwave listener. That begun a life-time of volunteering including being one of the WIA's longest continuous office-bearers. Roles have included WIA Victoria President, WIA Federal Councillor, News Editor of Amateur Radio magazine, the WIA Exam Service inaugural assessor for VK3 and WIA team member at IARU Region 3 triennial conferences since Darwin 2000. Pleased to be able to contribute his marketing and communications experience towards the WIA Centenary program. Like two others on the committee - David Wardlaw VK3ADW & Peter Wolfenden VK3RV - he was involved in the WIA 75 celebrations and is an Honorary Life Member of the WIA.
