The GRES was founded in 1963 when a group of Radio Amateurs saw the need to further advance theirs and others knowledge in various electronic fields. This is still being carried out today. We are also active in maintaining a very large Historic and Antique Radio Museum, one part situated in the Club Rooms and the other at The Old Geelong Gaol which is open for inspection by the public.

The Club meets every Thursday evening at 2000 Hrs (8.00 PM) except for Easter and Christmas.

There are Wednesday morning working bees to clean up the club and do general work, between 9.00 and midday. All welcome.

The club conducts the VK3ANR 2m Net every Wednesday night at 2000 Hrs (8pm) on 146.525 FM simplex. Everyone is more than welcome to join. us for a chat.

Please check the Calendar on our web site for details of our scheduled meeting activities and items of interest.
