The Club was founded in 1948 by a group of Amateurs living in the Moorabbin area. They held weekly meetings in a radio shop owned by Col Gibson, VK3FO, in Centre Road Bentleigh.
In 2018 we are celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the founding of the Club and invite all members past and present to contribute their recollections and anecdotes. Please contact the Secretary if you wish to contribute.
We hold our Hamfest on the Saturday before Mother's day. This is a major event in the Amateur calendar each year and continues to be the largest Hamfest in Victoria.


2nd Friday at 8:00PM and 4th Saturday morning of each month. 10:00AM to 12:30PM

Every Tuesday morning - 10:00am - Our senior members meet for coffee and a chat. Leon, VK3DTL, leads the group. Visitors welcome.

The clubrooms are located at the Combined Clubs complex, 33-35 Turner Road,Highett, Victoria. Melways ref - 77 J9
Enter via gate on Turner Road. Follow the track and look for the Antennas on the roof of the Clubrooms.
