Our club logo is the Platypus operating a radio which has been derived from the Platypus breeding and management programs at the famous Healesville Sanctuary in the beautiful Yarra Valley

Meetings

The club meets in the Scout Hall, George Miller Reserve, 140 Steels Creek Road, Yarra Glen 3755 on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month except December.

Club Activities & Events

Yarra Valley Amateur Radio Group Hamfest is held annually at the Gary Cooper Pavilion, ANZAC Road, Yarra Glen, 3755.

Sales are conducted by hiring table space from the club for a fixed fee and then conducting your own sales. The club does not levy your profits

To obtain table space at the sale you will need to book early because table space is allocated on a strictly, first come, first served, basis.


Also, you are also invited to join our nets at 20:00 AEST (20:30 summer time):-
- Monday 2m on our club repeater VK3RYV on 146.725
- Thursday 80m net on 3.565MHz (+/- 5 if in use)
