The Geraldton Amateur Radio Group (GARG) operates a 2m repeater (VK6RGN) on 147.000 MHz, input 146.400 MHz, atop the scenic Moresby Ranges, 210 meters ASL on the West coast, overlooking the Indian Ocean. The club has recently experienced a resurgence, increasing its membership from 5 to 25 since December 2013.

Club meetings are called as the need arises. Our growth is currently at such a rate that our meeting frequency approximates fortnightly. This will slow to monthly once we level out.

Club Activities & Events

Club activities centre around revamping our 2M repeater on the hill and we have several antenna projects on the books to commence once the repeater is as we want it.
The local IRLP node 6641 is destined to be relocated to the new site.
