Radio Activities I was first licenced in Melbourne in 1984. My callsign changed as I moved state to state as a RAAF Signals Operator. VK3PAS, VK6NAZ, VK6ALZ, and since 1991, VK4SN.
I believe clubs offer a wealth of information and as such I have always been a club person. The first club I joined was at the very first meeting of the Northern Corridor Radio Group in 1985 and was a member till 1990. In 1992 I joined the Ipswich & District Radio Club and was president and treasurer at times till I founded the Lockyer Valley Radio & Electronics Club in 1999. My roles in the club are Treasurer, Webmaster, repeater manager, and hosting the clubs echolink computer.
My favorite parts of the hobby are antenna and electronic project construction, field days, and contesting. I have used most digital modes, CW being my favorite.
