Introduction
The Group had its first meetings in 1955 before becoming Incorporated in 1958. Members interests are widely varied, but include: weak signal work; studying propagation; amateur radio bands 50 MHz and above; digital modes, .... It has beacons in Perth and Kalgoorlie - mainly on 50, 144, 432 MHz but also on 1296, 5760 and 10368 MHz.
Meetings
Meets 4th Monday of month at 19:00 hrs AWST (via Zoom). Also 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month at 12:00 hours AWST at the Wireless Hill operators cottage, Meeting Room, Ardross. Additional events announced via Google Groups: WA-VHF-Announce.
