From time to time Amateur Radio will make an appearance in the media, we may ready how Amateur Radio volunteers have provided a valuable communications network in times of emergency or natural disaster. We may read how Amateur Radio and volunteers have provided valuable communications services for fundraising events such as the Murray River marathon, Oxfam trailwalk or the Tasmanian Targa rally, we may read how Amateur Radio has been displayed at the local community event, whatever the case any positive publicity in the media is great for the hobby.
