Operator callsigns of Multi Operator stations MUST be submitted with the log or no points will be allocated. Multi Operator Single Radio and Multi Operator Two Radio stations must have at least 2 operators or no points will be allocated. For contests that don't specifically have M1, M2, or MM categories (ie: JMMFD and VUFD), Multi-Op operators will be scored under the Multi-Op Single Radio and Multi-Op Two Radios scoring system. If a MM station has only 2 operators, those operators will be scored under the Multi-Op Single Radio and Multi-Op Two Radios scoring system.

Special event stations and operators are not eligible for Contest Champion points.

Non VK stations and check-log entries do not count in placings and do not get points. Club stations in Single Operator categories count in placings but do not get points. Operators of club stations in Multi Operator categories get points but the club callsign does not get points.

If you change your callsign during the calendar year and don't notify the Contest Champion Scorer, your points will be spread across your old and new callsigns and will not reflect your total points as an individual. If you use a 2x1 callsign in some contests and your home call in other contests and don't notify the Contest Champion Scorer, your points will be spread across both callsigns and will not reflect your total points as an individual. To ensure all your Contest Champion points are attributed to a single callsign, you should use only 1 callsign for every WIA contest throughout the year or notify the Contest Champion Scorer of any changes. The callsign you choose to represent you in the Contest Champion list must also be used when nominating as an operator in Multi-Op categories. It is the responsibility of the operator to notify the Contest Champion Scorer of any callsign changes during the year. (Contest Champion Scorer contact details are below).

In the event of a tie the title is shared.

The score is taken from the best performance in each primary category in a contest. There are 8 eligible WIA contests.
