Full Details : The Moorabbin and District Amateur Radio club is pleased to announce the 2022 Hamfest will be on Saturday 14th May, 2022 with doors opening at 10am.
This is a Covid safe event - this years event will be held at The Kingston City Hall located at the corner of Nepean Highway and South Rd, Moorabbin.
The Moorabbin Radio Clubs annual Hamfest is proud to be Victoria's biggest with displays and sales of new and preloved equipment. The event supported by commercial traders with specials on offer, as well as the many second hand traders, and is an event not to be missed for anyone interested in Radio Communications and Electronics.
As well as many bargains available on the day, there will be major and minor door prizes, light refreshments will be available.

Full Details : The intention of the Don Edwards Memorial Slow Morse Contest is to remember Don Edwards VK2NV (SK) a long time member of the St. George Amateur Radio Society and keen Morse operator. A further intention of the contest is to encourage amateurs who rarely or never use Morse code to give it a try.

Saturday evening 14th May 2022 between 6pm and 9pm Eastern Standard Time (0800 - 1100 utc) on 80 metres.
Sunday afternoon 15th May 2022 between 1pm and 4pm Eastern Standard Time (0300 - 0600 utc) on 40 metres.
