The blokes on XC skis will be hoping for good snow again this winter as preparations commence for the 2013 winter trip up to the roof of Victoria. The team will ski out across icy wilderness to explore this amazing region each day and play radio each night using solar QRP gear. Tents, huts and igloos will provide shelter at elevations of around 1800m ASL. Make contact on 40m each afternoon and 80m each evening. Local 2m & 70cm repeaters will also be worked during each day.
