Introduction
The Northern Tasmanian Amateur Radio Club Inc (NTARC) consists of a friendly group catering for all Amateurs. Interests range from rag-chewing on the local repeaters through to cutting edge communications technology. We emphasize social gatherings, often incorporating a barbecue with a construction project or similar. All interested persons are invited to attend as visitors to any of our functions or meetings.
Meetings
Meetings are bi-monthly. Generally, the second Saturday during winter at 14:00 (2pm) and the second Wednesday night during summer at 19:30 (7:30pm), at Rocherlea Scout Hall, Archer Street Rocherlea - enter off Lilydale Road first turn on left approx 50 metres past speed sign follow Archer Street to bottom turn left grey building on right hand side, opposite Football Club.
Club Activities & Events
NTARC (Inc.) members gather informally at their club rooms, being the Rocherlea Scout Hall, Archer Street, Rocherlea, every Friday including public holidays at 10.00am local time for coffee and catch up..
There is also a Tech Net on 80m (3567) every alternate Wednesday evening commencing at 19:30. The other Wednesday is a Technical Session at the NTARC Clubrooms also commencing at 19:30. Please enquire for current dates.
Upcoming dates are advertised on the VK7 broadcast every Sunday at 09:30.
Some NTARC (Inc.) bi-monthly meetings are also social based dinner or BBQ meetings, keep an ear out for these on the weekly broadcasts.
