Obtaining media resources

If you are journalist, photographer, presenter, program producer or researcher in the media, the Wireless Institute of Australia can assist with information and contacts.

On this page you will find our standard media release. This is also being adapted to put a local focus on the events and activities being held by many WIA affiliated radio clubs during the centenary.

The celebration runs from the 1st of January through to 31st of December 2010 and includes activities related to the WIA annual general meeting in Canberra in May.

Another resource is the "About the centenary page" on this website. Click the following Link to go directly to the page.

If you need assistance, or would like to be put on an email list to receive updates, please email centenary@wia.org.au and expect an acknowledgement and response on the day.

For more urgent inquiries our Media Officer Jim Linton can be contacted via the above email address or on the phone 0419 808 323.
