Iridium Flares May Be History!

Brian VK2AAF via the AMSAT-VK list lets us know that Iridium Flares may unfortunately be history.
Sourced from an article on the Heavens Above website - they report that several people are reporting that Iridium Flares not showing up as predicted.
May of the first generation Iridium satellites are being de-orbited to make way for the next generation. Over 20 appear to have been moved out of their operation orbits. This means they are not producing reliable flares.
The other bad news is that the new satellites are not expected to produce flares due to revised design.
