VK100WIA Station operating at Radio & Comm. Expo & Hamfest

Operating Times and Frequencies
0001UTC till 2359UTC all days. Either from Expo or Members Home Stations
HF, 2m, 70cm, Echolink via VK4TPT-L. Also 27MHz & UHF CB, HamSphere and eQSO
Other Activities
We will have a public display of an operating Amateur Radio Station which will be used for VK100WIA contacts. For our as yet Non-Amateur visitors, we will also have working 27MHz and UHF CB Stations using appropriate Call-signs.
The Hamfest will have both Dealer and private stalls.
As well there will be a 2 Day swap-meet / car boot area.
The event will be open to all visitors. Cold drinks, tea, coffee, biscuits and hot food will be served.
Members will be on hand to answer any questions about the hobby.
Foundation, Standard & Advanced manual and callbooks will be on sale.
We will be taking bookings for all classes of AOCP courses.
Assessor and Learning Facilitator will be on hand to conduct assessments if required.
WIA News Broadcast will be sent from the site.
Publicity
Local Newspapers, Radio and TV. Intensive Poster Campaign. Listing on DX Clusters etc. Promotion to CB operators via 27MHz and UHF CB and eQSO.
