Introduction

The international Fellowship of Rotarians of Amateur Radio is a long standing fellowship of Rotary International. ROAR has several hundred members worldwide. The fellowship's current World President is Vernon Redhead G0EGW,and there are a number of regional Vice Presidents. The VP for the Australia, New Zealand and Oceania (ANZO) region is Phil Byrne VK2MCB.

ROAR runs a number of local and international nets and information about these and other ROAR activities can be found on our web site.

Membership is open to amateurs and SWLs who are Rotarians or past Rotarians and members of Rotarians families.

Club Activities & Events

Members meet on HF, on Dstar and on Zoom. Weekly HF nets on 20 and 40 metres link Europe and VK/ZL as does a Dstar net.

A weekly Zoom meeting connects mainly ROAR members in North America.
