The Northern Corridor Radio Group will be holding their annual Hamfest on Sunday 3 August. The venue for the event will be the Cyril Jackson Recreation Centre in Fisher St, Ashfield. Doors are to open at 7.30am for Traders and 9:00am for the Public.

The WIA are proud to be involved with the NCARG, and will be attending the hamfest with a table manned by WIA Director Eddie Saunders VK6ZSE, with assistance provided by Keith Bainbridge VK6XH and Neil Husk VK6BDO. Eddie will be pleased to meet you and answer any questions you may have in relation to WIA matters.

On sale at the WIA table will be our Second Edition Foundation Licence Manual, the WIA Callbook and our range of WIA merchandise. Whilst visiting the WIA table, why not also consider joining up and becoming a member of the WIA. Eddie would be delighted to accept your application form and to have the opportunity to personally welcome you into membership.

The Hamfest runs until 1:30 in the afternoon with a raffle scheduled to be drawn at 1:00pm. Whilst there are no charges for trading tables, there is a $5.00 admission fee. The Gravity Centre from Gingin will be the featured attraction for the hamfest and an interesting display of astronomical equipment will also be provided.

So make time for this opportunity to catch up with the 350-400 fellow Amateurs who will be attending.
