EI100MCV Special event Station

A Special Event Station EI100MCV will be operational which commemorates the centenary of the sinking in World War One of the Dun Laoghaire to Holyhead Mail Boat (RMS Leinster) with the loss of 567 people.

The sinking occurred on on the 10th October 1918.

This sinking represented the largest loss of life in the Irish Sea.

The call sign will be QRV until the end of 2018, with most activity in the month of October.
