AX3 MCG/GAMES Where-When

Date : 10 / 03 / 2006
Author : Jim Linton - VK3PC (Amateur Radio Victoria)

Amateur Radio Victoria members have been asking where and when they can expect to hear and work the two special event callsigns AX3MCG and AX3GAMES.

Following is a table based on information supplied by a number of those rostered to use the Commonwealth Games commemorative callsigns. In addition, we are hoping to have AX3GAMES on the Melbourne ATV repeater VK3RTV on a weekday night.

Keep an eye out on new details being posted in the roster that can be found on the Members Only website.

Both callsigns were active tonight on the 40m band and continuing to prove very popular. Around 1500 contacts and nudging 100 countries in their combined logs so far.
