2007 Club Grant Scheme Closes

17/ 07/ 2007   The WIA has allocated $5,000 this year for grants to affiliated clubs, to support projects that promote and advance amateur radio, the WIA and it's Affiliated Clubs by supporting useful and/or innovative projects undertaken or to be undertaken by Affiliated Clubs.

ACMA Delays in Processing Amateur Licences

17/ 07/ 2007   The WIA office has received a number of phone calls from WIA Exam Service assessment candidates concerned about the delay in the processing of their applications for certificates of proficiency and apparatus licences by ACMA after the WIA has forwarded them to ACMA.
