Australian Military Radio Operators weekend

2019 is the second year of Australian Military Radio Operators weekend. It occurs on the weekend after Anzac Day. ANZAC DAY Thursday 25th April is also a WW2 radio promotion day and is 2 days before this event. This year the Australian Military Radio Operators weekend is in honour of WINNIE-THE-WAR-WINNER wireless of WW2.

Frequencies and Modes for operation include:
AM and CW on ANZAC Day, 25th April 2019.
NO SET HF FREQUENCIES for this event, but a good freq to start on:
 3530 khz, cw MORSE CODE
 7006 khz cw MORSE CODE
 7060 khz AM DOUBLE SIDEBAND AND CARRIER or SSB and CARRIER
 7125 khz. AM DOUBLE SIDEBAND AND CARRIER or SSB and CARRIER

PRIZE WINNER MUST LOCATE AN "AXIS STATION" , RE-ENACTING, THE STATION WILL MENTION AMRO DURING ITS TRANSMISSIONS, YOU WILL NEED TO FILL IN THE DETAILS AS FOLLOWS:

The mystery Intercept band is the 40 CH, 27 Mhz band. 26.965----27.405 MHz
Attention: If you can only receive, you will be able to pick up the info to win the competition.
You will be competing against Short Wave listeners also.

This competition is to test initiative, and so the prize will be well earned.
A printscreen of the emails incoming will be saved in case anyone disputes at a later date.
You will not need to pay for postage etc.if you are the winner.
This year the prize is a donation from Andrew VK5WT.
