Update for the 2026 Election of Directors of the WIA
As you are aware there were four nominations received for the three Director roles that will be vacant at the end of the WIA AGM in May 2026.
Therefore in accordance with the Election Regulations, an election will be held by Ballot.
I have announced that the candidates for election are:
 Chris Dimitrijevic VK3FY
Klaus Illhardt VK3IU
Lee Moyle VK3GK
Justin Giles-Clark VK7TW
The bio details of the nominees has been sent to Roger Harrison, VK2ZRH, editor of Amateur Radio Magazine, for publishing in the January/February edition of the magazine.
The bio details will be available shortly on the WIA website and will be emailed to all members just before the election.

The election ballot will commence on 1 February 2026 and close on 28 February 2026.
In order to be able to vote in this election, members must be financial as of 31 December 2025.
So please check the membership portal to ensure that your details are up to date and the correct email address is recorded.
