IARU Contest Region 3 Winners

The WIA has for many years acknowledged the contribution of Michael Owen, VK3KI (SK), has made through his many years of service to the IARU globally.

The WIA does this with the awarding of a trophy each year to the highest individual scorer in the IARU HF Contest.

-The winner of the WIA 2024 Michael J Owen award is KATSUHIRO KONDOU, JE6RPM. Op JH5GHM.

-The winner of the WIA 2025 Michael J Owen award is VLADIMIR HUZEVKA, VL2A. Op VK2IM.

Katsuhiro Kondou JH5GHM will be presented with his award in Tokyo this coming August during the Tokyo Hamfair weekend and the JARL 100 year Centenary celebrations.
