Dear IARU Member Societies and Radio Amateurs,
In response to the current disaster situation in Indonesia, ORARI will activate emergency communication operations from 11 to 24 September 2026.
Radio amateurs are kindly requested to avoid causing interference and to give priority to emergency traffic on the following frequencies:
7.110 MHz Voice emergency communications
7.100 MHz USB JS8Call data communications
145.880 MHz Uplink to the LAPAN-A2/IO-86 satellite
435.880 MHz Downlink from the LAPAN-A2/IO-86 satellite
Operators are encouraged to maintain a listening watch where possible and to follow any further operational announcements issued by ORARI.
Your cooperation and support during this emergency communication operation are greatly appreciated.
