Looking for radio equipment, electronic components, a bargain or simply a chance to catch up with fellow radio amateurs? The Amateur Radio Experimenters Group (AREG) is getting ready for its Radio & Electronics Car Boot Sale in Adelaide!
November 21st from 10am to 1pm.
Held at the DogsSA Showground, Cromwell Road, Kilburn, the event promises a great day of amateur radio, electronics, equipment sales and community connections.
A strong line-up of specialist retailers will be attending, including:
Comtek Radio from Perth
VKRadio from Melbourne
RF Revolution from Adelaide
Local amateur radio organisations will also be represented, including SARG, NERC, EARC, the VK5 QSL Bureau and, of course, AREG itself, with displays highlighting some of the group's activities and experiments.
Bargains, Raffles and Prizes!
Along with the car boot sale and commercial vendors, visitors can enter a paid raffle featuring two prizes, including a Codan 9350 HF Mobile Automatic Tuning Unit, generously supplied by HF Radio Solutions.
There will also be door prizes drawn throughout the day, courtesy of TET-Emtron in Perth.
Refreshments and cafeteria facilities will be available thanks to DogsSA, and there's plenty of off-street parking.
Seller Bays Still Available!
AREG still has a limited number of seller bays available. If you've got radio equipment, electronic components or other interesting gear looking for a new home, this is an excellent opportunity.
