Bushfire Radio Operator Recognition Day - Sunday 7th February 2010

06/ 02/ 2010   February 7, 2010 is the first anniversary of the disastrous fires in Victoria where 13 major fires burnt 352,686 hectares. 173 lives were lost, over 2000 homes destroyed, countless stock killed, kilometers of fences, sheds and wildlife.

WIA Board appoints new Director

04/ 02/ 2010   The WIA Board has, in accordance with the WIA’s Constitution, appointed Philip Adams VK3JNI a director following the resignation of Robert Broomhead VK3DN, which has been previously announced. Phil’s appointment by the Board is for the balance of Robert’s term, which ends with the 2011 AGM.
