WIA QSL Operations Manager - Applications Open

Undertake the role and duties of the WIA QSL Operations Manager including the sorting of incoming QSL cards, dispatching of sorted cards to State or Territory QSL Bureaux, communications with State QSL Managers and education aligned with the WIA QSL Guidelines for a range of audiences including the State & Territory Bureaux and members of the WIA.

Governance:
 Understand the QSL business of the WIA and IARU.
 Take primary direction from the National Inward QSL Manager and undertake these and other related duties as required by the manager.
 Understand and undertake the role of QSL Operations Manager on behalf of the WIA Board.

Legal Compliance:
 Understand, abide and maintain the WIA QSL Policy and make recommendations to the QSL Manager on changes and updates.
 Understand and abide with the WIA Constitution, rules, regulations, standing orders, policies, processes.
 Understand the structures, processes, procedures and documents that establish the WIA organization.

Operations:
 Sort and arrange for sorting of incoming QSL cards.
 Dispatch sorted cards to State or Territory QSL Bureaux.
 Organise VK0, VK9, special events and unrecognized callsign QSL cards for sorting by the QSL Manager.

Meetings:
 Liaise with Outwards, State and Territory QSL Bureaux and members when necessary.
 Liaise with WIA Office Staff where necessary.

Administrative, Educative & Communication:
 Respond to, and securely file, all QSL correspondence and documentation.
 Keeping relevant stakeholders informed of the QSL activities.
 Deliver QSL education aligned with the WIA QSL Guidelines for a range of audiences including the State & Territory Bureaux and Members of the WIA.

Desirable Requirement:
The Manager resides in VK3 (Victoria) and able to visit the WIA National Office in Bayswater on a regular basis.
