Introduction

Our club was originally formed in 1959 by a small group of enthusiasts in Brunswick Heads NSW and was named the Far Northern Radio Club. The club has grown since these early days, a name change to the Summerland Radio Club, then in the late nineteen sixties and we became Summerland Amateur Radio Club Inc.
We have over 100 members, local and overseas.

Repeaters in our local area consist of 2m and 70cm, our repeaters require a 123 Hz tone for access, please look at the callbook for extra details.

Meetings

Meetings: Thursday night 1900L, Sundays 1300L.
The Club AGM is to be held on the 14th February 2010.
Club Committee meetings are held at the clubrooms on the 3rd Sunday of the month at our clubrooms 414 Richmond Hill Road, Richmond Hill.
Turn north off the Bruxner Highway at Richmond Hill Road, 10 Kms from Lismore, and the club rooms are about 500m along on the Eastern side.

6-7 Mar - Upgrade Standard Theory 2 / Exam.

28 Mar - Carboot Sale, SARC Clubrooms.
10-11 Apr - Horse Enduro, Copmanhurst.
17-18 Apr - Foundation Course & Exam.
15-16 May - Horse Enduro, Eden Creek.
10-11 July - Horse Enduro, Eden Creek.
8 Aug - SARCFEST, Richmond Hill.

Club Activities & Events

CARBOOT DAY: 28 March at the Clubrooms, all welcome, sell anything, $5 per car etc.
SARCFEST: Held on the second weekend of August each year at the Clubrooms. Next: 8th August.
Sellers of all kinds invited, no charge but donation requested. Admission $2 ea, $5 family.
