Introduction

Westlakes Amateur Radio Club Inc was formed in 1964 from the Booragul High School radio club by Keith Howard VK2AKX (SK). The club had numerous homes till 1974 when we were granted a parcel of land at Teralba and premises and towers etc were erected and still serve the club today.
The Club is located in York Street Teralba, about 15 Kilometres south west of Newcastle. A fully equipped radio shack, Classroom, Meeting Room, Canteen and activity room are provided and the club is also home to the WIA QSL Bureau.
