Introduction
WICEN is a volunteer organisation which provides communications support to emergency service organisations and the community. WICEN members are trained radio operators and are experienced in communications technology and operations procedures.
In NSW, WICEN consists of several Regions and Groups, which manage both the operational and administrative aspects of WICEN operations in the regional area.
The state executive handles administration on a state-wide basis, taking care the formal aspects of an incorporated body as well as areas outside the established Regions and Groups.
WICEN is always looking for volunteers to help the community with communications assistance.
