A public meeting was called to judge the need for a local club. That meeting decided to set up a Wauchope radio club with a view to drawing in amateurs not already in a club and to attempt to overcome the current problem in Wauchope with access to existing repeaters.
The club was Incorporated immediately and has been operating since the first meeting on 14 July 2018.
The club's Patron is the Hon. Melinda Pavey MP.


Wauchope RSL Club - Cameron Street, Wauchope.
2nd Saturday of month at 1300 hrs. Meeting held in a private room (ANZAC Room) at the club, meet in the foyer at 1300.

Weekly net Monday nights @ 1930 hrs
on 147.000mHz (-600) no tone.

Training Courses And Assessment Information

We conduct exams for amateur and marine radio licences as required. Contact the Secretary to make arrangements for study or exam dates.
Exams for a full range of amateur licences, Foundation, Standard and Advanced are conducted also Marine SROCP and LROCP.
All exams are able to be conducted now. Anyone wishing to sit for amateur radio or marine radio licence exams should give the club 2 weeks notice for the club to obtain exam papers from AMC.

The club has no scheduled training classes. Email the club at for information if interested in obtaining an amateur radio licence (Foundation,Standard or Advanced) or a marine radio licence (SROCP or LROCP).
