Introduction
The Adelaide hills Amateur Radio Society is now 25 years old. We have regular monthly meetings, a mid year and Christmas dinner. The club members participate in the Field days, help WICEN with Rally SA, support the local Adelaide VK5RAD repeater and run training courses. Visit the club website for the latest information.
Meetings
Meets 3rd Thursday, 7.30pm at
Belair Community Centre. Corner of Sheoak Rd and Burnell Drive Belair. See map.
August 21st meeting.
Brian Roberts VK5VI will talk on the history of, and the current production method of, the State Broadcast.
September 18th meeting.
Sasi VK5SN will be talking on the "Sea Rescue Squadron Operations"
The following Saturdays, September 20th and 27th will be visits to the Squadron at West Beach. (To be confirmed)
Club Activities & Events
Our major event for 2008 will be the annual Buy and Sell. To be held Sunday November 9th at the Goodwood Community Centre, Rosa St Goodwood. The event is being enhanced this year. We have booked 2 adjoining halls and expect to fill them with new and used equipment. Contact John Elliott or David Clegg to reserve a commercial or private table. Commercial table $30 for 1 and $15 there after. Private $10 a table. See the club webpage for more details.
