Introduction
The South Coast Amateur Radio Club Inc. has as its main objects the promotion of amateur radio as a 'modern' hobby; to improve the technical competence of its members; provide opportunities for any person interested in electronics/radio to gain full accreditation to operate as a licensed amateur operator.
SCARC conducts project nights building radio related items of interest to members at a very reasonable cost.
Meetings
Club meets at the Scout Hall 16 Roberts Road Hackham. General Meetings on 4th Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm; except for the 2nd Wed. there is a meeting each Wed. at 7.30pm.
Note: SCARC normally holds a Technical night on the 1st meeting of each month.
Club Activities & Events
SCARC 2 metre 'net' held on the second Wednesday of each month on VK5RSV 146.675MHz.[-600kHz offset].
Project nights held on a regular basis.
