co-ordinator was one of the clubs inaugural members. Doug VK5GA also one of the inaugural
members has been Secretary of the club for 19 years.
Presently the club has 16 members 5 of which are
F calls.
Meetings
Club meets on the 2nd Monday of the month at
7-30pm at Berri in the Riverland. For further details contact the Secretary on 85955320.
The next meeting will be held on the 12th May.
Club Activities & Events
Club held Hamfests in Renmark in 1994 and 1996
Involved in John Moyle Contest in 2007.
Held construction nights on Centre fed Dipoles kits constructing baluns etc.
Established 2metre repeater at Berri in 1991-92
Frequency of 147-925 - 147-325.
Repeater has been relocted recently to a position south of Kingston (On Murray)
QF05ER 35 degrees 15.19S 140 degrees 20.72E.
Upcoming Courses and Assessments
The next Foundation exam will be held on the 10th
May 2008. At this stage we have 10 registered.
