The Club provides a meeting place for people who share an interest in Community Radio, Short Wave Listening, CB Radio, Amateur Radio and Electronics. We encourage and help those interested in obtaining an Amateur Radio Operator's License.

We offer a WIA Exam Service via accredited assessors providing a service for Amateur Radio Operator's License examinations in Port Pirie and surrounding towns on a needs basis.

If you would like to sit a radio exam please give us a call.

We actively promote amateur radio.

We are also planning amateur radio, and marine radio lessons and exams in the future for anyone who might wish to get their amateur or marine radio license or up grade to a higher license level.

Some 2nd Thursdays of the month at Trax FM 251 The Terrace, Port Pirie. 7.00 pm all welcome. Give us a call if you would like to meet with us.

Radio Nets

Are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the Month at 20:00 on air with the Whyalla group on VK5RMN Repeater on 146.700.

The group has two WIA assessors and one marine radio invigilator within its members and assessments can be arranged as required.

We will have training days and examinations in the future at the Trax FM Studios at number 251 The terrace Port Pirie. Time and day to be advised.
