Lake Hume Amateur Radio Group

VK2AHA

PO Box 3229
Albury NSW 2640

Introduction

The Lake Hume Amateur Radio Group was formed to give people interested in Amateur Radio as a hobby, in both a technical sense and as a means of Radio Communication.

As a volunteer group, we can work with accredited emergency service organisations. Our communications networks can operate without relying on the Internet, telecommunications carriers, Government agencies, or other communications infrastructure.

We are affiliated with the WIA. Most of us are ACMA licensed radio operators (or are studying to be...) but we do not limit membership to "radio hams". If you're interested in radio communications, you're welcome here.

Meetings

The club meets on the first Saturday of the month commencing at 1300hrs at the North Albury Guides Hall, corner of Swan and Kestral Streets Albury.
