Introduction
Welcome to the Hervey Bay Amateur Radio Club Inc
The club maintains a repeater on Ghost Hill (Hervey Bay), VK4RHB, 146.650 -ve offset. The repeater can be reached from parts of Fraser Island, Maryborough and up the coast to Burrum Heads using a typical mobile installation, being only 90 meters high it is not a DX repeater except under exceptional conditions!
Echolink is running on our repeater, accessible in the normal way using DTMF tones.
Meetings
Rag chew at the club room every Saturday, starting at 0930 EST
Club monthly meeting every 3rd Saturday of each month, starting 0930 EST at the club room located at the back of the SES complex in Old Maryborough Road, Pialba, please park outside of the complex.
Visitors will be made very welcome.
Club Activities & Events
The club runs a HF net on Thursday nights. Kick off at 07:30pm EST, 3615kHz, all welcome.
