Undelivered Mail

Author : Mal Johnson - VK6LC

The WIA Awards Office apologise to those that have not received sent Certificates or correspondence.
We seem to be having problems mainly with NSW and have experienced missing mail occurrences dating back to 27th. April 2005, the latest being a few weeks ago. It seems to be only within Australia, as no complaints from Overseas.

A formal complaint has been sent to Australia Post and its being investigated.

Hard copy mailing to the Awards Office is collected from the POB Cannington once a week, Email correspondence is normally responded to within 24 hours. I would request members to contact the Awards Office if a hard copy has not be answered within 3-5 weeks, if possible send an email of your intent so we know .

All Certificates are posted economy mail only and are not Registered. To Register mail, would be at your cost and we are sorry that this is occurring.

We do not make a profit out of our members certificates, they are administered at WIA cost. For second issues we will need help with return postage.

If members require returned confirmation with hard copy postal correspondence please include a stamped addressed envelope. We are at this period carrying another Australia Post mail increase of 12% this September without increasing our Award Fees.

In all cases if the Awards Office is closed for annual leave etc all correspondence is answered in form of a reply letter, emails are also responded to when possible.

Please advise me if you or any other member has been having problems with Australia Post via this Awards Office.
