Introduction
The club was founded 1948. We hold our Hamfest on the Saturday before Mother's day. This is major event in the Amateur calandar each year.
Meetings
2nd Friday at 8:00PM and 4th Saturday morning of each month. 10:00AM to 12:30PM
Every Tuesday morning - 10:00am - Our senior members meet for coffee and a chat. John VK3HCT leads the group. Visitors welcome.
The clubrooms are located at the Combined Clubs complex, Turner Road,Highett, Victoria Melways ref - 77 J9
Enter via Turner Road. Follow the Road and look for the Antennas
Club Activities & Events
The club Nets is held each week on the following frequencies:
* Monday 146.550MHz......VHF net. Starts at 19:30 (local) Net Control is rostered on a monthly cycle.
* Wednesday 3.566 MHz (+/- QRM)...HF net. Starts at 20:00 (local) Net Controller is Graeme VK3GL.
( NOTE: The 80M net goes into recess through the daylight saving period in Victoria)
