Introduction
The Wimmera Amateur Radio Group, is a small group of radio amateurs from Horsham and surrounding towns. We are incorporated and our Reg No. is A0029661X.
Meetings
Monthly meetings are held on the first Monday of the month at 7:30PM. The venue/club rooms are located at the State Emergency Services building, McPherson St Horsham.
NEXT MEETING - Christmas Dinner, 7th Dec 2009 7:00pm at the Horsham RSL, McLachlan St.
*** WEEKLY NET *** - WARG has a weekly net on Wednesday nights on 80m, 3.555Mhz, starting at 8:00pm Local EST. Anybody is welcomed to join.
Club Activities & Events
Some of the groups members are keen field day operators, and WARG is usually represented on most VHF/UHF & John Moyle Field Days.
WARG sometimes has Activity Meetings which maybe held on weekends. These maybe a BBQ get together or a club activity/project etc.

Training Courses And Assessment Information
WARG is not running any courses at the moment. If we have enought starters, then we would look at a course.
Assessments are provided by appointment, between the assessor and the candidate.
